Für die Bezeichnung „Bio-Hopfen“ müssen strenge Vorgaben hinsichtlich Anbau, Spritzmitteln und Kennzeichnung erfüllt werden. Die Zertifizierung für diese Hopfensorten erfolgt durch das Unternehmen A•B•CERT, mit Sitz in Esslingen, das sowohl die Bioland-Zertifizierung in Deutschland als auch die USDA-Zertifizierung in den USA überwacht.

We sell hops, organic hops, raw hops (vacuum packs), hop pellets (Type 45 and Type 90), and hop extracts worldwide. Our national and international customers include large breweries, private and medium-sized breweries, brewpubs, craft brewers, and home brewers. With us, you can not only buy hops online but also store them optimally in our refrigerated warehouses for a fee and retrieve them as needed.

Our company was founded in 1868. Since 1964, the headquarters of Hopfenhandlung Hildegard Eisemann GmbH & Co. KG has been located in Spechbach, a small community in the Kraichgau region between Heidelberg and Sinsheim. The management team consists of master brewer Rudolf Eisemann (5th generation) and his wife Hildegard. Since August 1, 2018, they have been supported by their son Franz Rudolf (6th generation).
