Alpha values of the 2024 hop harvest

Alpha Values / Alpha Acid Values of Hops from the 2024 Harvest and 5-Year and 10-Year Average Values 

The 2024 harvest is fully completed. Raw hops are now being processed into typical products such as hop pellets Type 45 and Type 90, ethanol extract, CO₂ extract, or in the form of raw hops (vacuum packs). This year, too, the alpha values of hops from the 2024 harvest were published by the Working Group on Hop Analysis (AHA). From now on, we will incorporate these new values into newly concluded supply contracts. The alpha values are an essential component of multi-year supply contracts, provided that the so-called "alpha clause" has been agreed upon. (The alpha clause is only applied to aroma hops.)
